The Little Ballet was created in 2008 by Jannah Johns. The first season was held at the Goat on a Boat Puppet Theatre in Sag Harbor, NY. Each class features a famous ballet such as The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Coppelia and more. The story is read and participants dress as the main character as they perform the ballet to its classical music. In 2010 Jannah was inspired to write a children’s book titled Esther’s Blessing, based in the Bible's book of Esther. The story features a mother reading  to her young daughter who is struggling with a bully at school. Each aspect of the story is mirrored in todays likeness to inspire young audiences toward integrity and faith like character. Jannah is writing a second book about the birth of Jesus Christ from the perspective of Mary of Nazareth. In 2023 God put it in Jannah’s heart to marry her books with her ballet program and create The Little Ballet Ministry. A Gospel centered program where children interact and respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
